Work with people who care about the work
Agency life has something of a reputation: long hours, ego and clients treated like account numbers. That’s not this. Market Mentors runs on people who take the work seriously, take themselves less so and show up for each other as reliably as they show up for clients. If that sounds like your speed, keep scrolling.
Culture Overview
What it’s like at Market Mentors
Some days the inspiration comes from a strategy session. Some days it comes from a baseball stadium or the top of a giant slide. We’re believers in the grownup field trip and the family-style feast, because the same energy that plans a great celebration plans a great campaign. The work is fast-paced and the standards are high, but nobody here thinks fun and excellence are competing priorities. They’re teammates.
What we value
These aren’t words we picked for the wall. They’re how we hire, how we work and how we decide when the answer isn’t obvious. If they sound like you, we should probably talk.
Success
Success can only be achieved when we first seek to understand, act with urgency, initiative, and integrity, and consistently strive to do phenomenal work that gets results.
Positivity
Positivity allows us to see beyond the immediate and into the future. It’s an understanding that there is a solution, it can be done, and we will find a way.
Authenticity
We communicate in a genuine, direct, honest, and collaborative way. We believe in being transparent and sharing feedback with one another; that it is a gift both given and received. We are respectful, good-natured, and kind in our communications with each other and our clients.
Elevation
The commitment to being better means that we never stop consulting, teaching, advising, learning, sharing information, and holding ourselves and others accountable. We embrace change. We run to the problem and solve it. We own our work and commit to growing each and every day.
Pride
Pride is the standard we hold ourselves to, even when no one is looking. It’s the care in the details, the ownership we take in our work and the reputation we build one interaction at a time. We stay curious, question what can be better and don’t ship work we wouldn’t stand behind.
