1. Working with Market Mentors
What kinds of businesses do you work with?
We work with organizations that want marketing to drive real business results, not just look busy. We have deep experience in manufacturing, banking and finance and healthcare, and we’ve helped plenty of businesses outside those industries too. If you’re wondering whether you fit, ask—the answer is usually yes.
Do we have to buy everything, or can we start with one service?
Start wherever the need is sharpest. Some clients bring us in for a single project like a website or campaign; others hand us the whole marketing function. Many start small and expand once they see what follow-through looks like.
We already have an internal marketing team. Will you replace them?
Not at all. Our team serves as an extension of yours, filling gaps in strategy, creative, media buying or bandwidth. Your team knows your business; we bring the specialized skills and extra hands.
What makes you different from other agencies?
We’re genuinely full service, which means strategy, creative, media and measurement live under one roof and actually talk to each other. And we’re direct: we’ll tell you what’s working, what isn’t and what we’d do next—even when that’s not the answer that makes us the most money.
2. What to expect
What happens after we contact you?
A conversation, not a pitch. We’ll ask about your business, your goals and what’s prompting the call. If it looks like a fit, we’ll come back with a recommended approach and a clear scope. If it doesn’t, we’ll say so.
How long does it take to get started?
It depends on the work, but we don’t believe in six weeks of onboarding before anything happens. Once the scope is set, we move, usually with quick wins underway while the bigger strategy takes shape.
How will we know if it’s working?
Because we’ll show you. Every engagement includes reporting tied to the metrics that matter for your goals—leads, sales, traffic, awareness—not vanity numbers. You’ll always know what we did, what it produced and what we’re adjusting.
Who will actually work on our account?
The people you meet are the people who do the work. You’ll have a dedicated point of contact backed by our full team of strategists, writers, designers, developers and media buyers. No handoff to a junior team after the contract is signed.
3. Budgets and billing
How much does it cost?
Honest answer: it depends on what you need, and anyone who quotes you a price before understanding your goals is guessing. We scope work based on your objectives and budget, and we’re upfront about costs before anything starts. No surprise invoices.
Do you require long-term contracts?
Some work is ongoing by nature. For example, media buying and SEO build results over time. But we earn renewals with results, not lock-in clauses. We’ll recommend the engagement structure that fits the work, and we’ll explain why.
We have a small budget. Is it worth calling you?
Yes. A smaller budget often means less room for waste, which makes strategy more important, not less. We’ll tell you honestly what your budget can accomplish and where it will work hardest.
4. The practical stuff
Where are you located, and do you work with clients outside your area?
We’re headquartered in Springfield, MA, and work with clients across the region and beyond. Some clients we see in person regularly; others, we mostly see on screens—with no difference in team, responsiveness or results. Great marketing travels just fine.
Do you use AI in your work?
Absolutely—and we have a whole philosophy about it: Automate the Ordinary, Humanize the Extraordinary®. We use AI to work faster and smarter where it helps, and we help clients get found in AI-driven search through generative engine optimization (GEO). What we never do is hand your brand voice to a robot and call it a day. Learn more about our approach.
Can you help us show up in ChatGPT and Google AI answers?
Yes. That’s generative engine optimization (GEO) and answer engine optimization (AEO), earning visibility where buyers increasingly start their research. It’s one of the fastest-growing parts of our work, and we practice what we preach. This FAQ page is structured for it.
